While neighboring communities have secured hundreds of thousands, even millions of dollars in grants and earmarks for their residents, Billerica has been left with far less than what we deserve. Last year, our state representative secured zero dollars in earmark funding for Billerica. Not because the money isn't out there, but because he didn't even try. Billerica residents pay the same taxes as everyone else and we deserve a representative who will fight just as hard as everyone else to bring those dollars home.
