Accomplishments

Accomplishments

Daniel has spent the past several years serving the people of Billerica with dedication, integrity, and a clear focus on the issues that matter most to our community.

When Daniel was first elected to the Billerica Select Board, the board was in rough shape. Members were putting politics ahead of people, key town employees were leaving in droves, and the focus had drifted away from the priorities that affect residents' daily lives. Daniel changed that. From day one, he has been a steady voice of reason for the residents of Billerica.

Daniel worked tirelessly to get the board back on track. He helped recruit and hire a new Town Manager, Assistant Town Manager, Town Legal Counsel, and other key personnel essential to long-term stability in town government. He cast the tie-breaking vote on historic infrastructure investments in our water system, ensuring clean, reliable water for every resident. He supported a budget that fully funds our Department of Public Works, Police, and Fire Departments, giving our first responders and town employees the resources they need to serve our community well.

Daniel has been a consistent champion for our schools, including supporting an MSBA Statement of Interest for our middle school to move forward with long-overdue improvements. He also brought forward a comprehensive plan to grow economic development in Billerica, expanding our commercial tax base and easing the burden on homeowners.

Before his service on the Select Board, Daniel served as a representative on the Billerica School Committee, where he stood up for our public schools and opposed educator layoffs that would have hurt Billerica students. Beyond elected office, Daniel has volunteered with numerous local nonprofits, donating his time to support their operations and helping raise funds to keep their important work going.

Today, Daniel remains focused on delivering the strong, productive representation Billerica deserves: supporting working families and seniors, strengthening our local economy, and tackling the rising cost of living with practical solutions and real results.
